Jeez, I've never even heard of this guy...

Talent grew on trees back in the '50s (and '40s, and '30s.) It must have - even the sponsor's commercials from back then are more entertaining than today's programming. (Don't believe me? Catch a Jack Benny, Bilko, Kovacs or Sid Caesar episode with the original broadcast commercials sometime!)

A super-genius could conceivably remain obscure and under the radar, because the talent pool was so dense, and professionalism was so widespread and commonplace. What the hell happened?

Wow, thank you for that clip. You don't see that kind of still often.

It should be noted that both of these men had healthy children.

He's incredible.

Here's my own favourite thing on the internet - the amazing young Strong Machine 2.

I'll bet that rascal spent a fortune on keeping his suit pressed. Yeah, there was sure a lot of talent back then, as well as all sorts of venues on TV to showcase it. Not anymore, sadly...

Did he just do the worm?? Not many dancers compare to the skills found in that era. That being said, I recently attempted to collect a few videos of those that come close. ;)
